COVID-19 Resource Directory for Migrant Workers In Manitoba

With the support of Employment and Social Development Canada, the Manitoba Association of Newcomer Serving Organizations (MANSO) has developed a live resource directory to share with our members and key stakeholders. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this directory resource supports the unique needs of migrant workers. This includes workers on a temporary status with work permits, such as Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAWs) and Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs).

This document includes links to official websites and information sources for topics including:

  • Workplace safety resources, understanding your rights, how to report abuse, and guides to employment standards
COVID-19 related information in multiple languages, including information to understand the virus, how to protect yourself from the virus, and what to do if you are sick
  • General information for temporary foreign workers, including financial literacy
  • General information to support you while you stay in Manitoba, including access to mental health services, and emergency food supports
  • Current COVID-19 information in Manitoba, including public health orders and restrictions, and vaccination eligibility
  • Federal travel information and travel restrictions related to COVID-19

Each link is labeled to show if the resources are national or provincial, and if they are multilingual.

This document is updated regularly. However, if you find any broken links or resources that need to be updated, please contact
